Vintage early 1950\'s George Nelson designed wrought iron rib cage log holder. Made by Howard Miller. Early type build with 6 ribs and 5/8 inch diameter flat end rods. All original construction with typical finish wear. Well kept and very sturdy. It easily held a couple of logs by a stone fireplace for a few decades in the living room. Measures 24-1/8\" long, 17-1/4\" wide, 8-1/2\" tall and weighs just over 14 pounds.
