\"Kozu, Osaka\", an early edition 1924 woodblock print by Kawase Hasui (1883 - 1957)This is a rare early Kawase Hasui woodblock print titled \"Kozu, Osaka\", from his 3rd Souvenirs of Travels series, first published in 1924. This particular woodblock print has the early Watanabe B seal in the right margin, indicating that it was published between 1927 and 1932. This print, although still lovely, has a minor stain (area of light discoloration) in the upper left part of the dark blue sky, as well as some bluish bleedthrough on the back in that area. It has strong colors and displays well as the stain is not too noticeable from the front. The print also has very minor toning in the margins. It is oban in size, measuring about 10 x 15 inches.
