Designed andhand made by Russell Akerman this clock is another success story from the British Echo Of Decoceramic studios who have produced manyhighly creative and original Art Decoinspired designs.

This wall clock has beenhand glazedin Echo ofDeco\'sown Paris white glaze with black and Red glaze detail, which suits the machine age geometric design of this wall clock very well. The clock hands areblackcolouredmetal.

The inspiration for this stylish wall clock comes from the Italian pioneer of radio, Guglielmo Marconi. Marconi\'s work in the development of wireless radio was quite literally a quantum leap in the field of human communication, contributing greatly to the advancement of the modern world. The design of the Marconi 2 shows the first experimental radio waves being transmitting across the Atlantic in 1901. The three curved lines in the middle of the clock symbolise radio signals radiating outwards from the V shape transmitter into space. By the 1920\'s wireless radio was regularly being broadcast into millions of homes and providing entertainment in a completely new way.
