Edison Phonograph Reproducer Tube For The Ics Amberola 30 Set Up :
HERE IS A TUBE THAT IS DESIGNED TO USE WITH A DIAMOND B SPECIAL REPRODUCER OR A SPECIAL H REPRODUCER FOR AN EDISON AMBEROLA 30 PHONOGRAPH. Nice Condition. It measures 2 1/4" long, but of course half of it would go inside of the neck of the horn of an Edison Amberola Model 30. See page 62 of the book ANTIQUE PHONOGRAPH GADGETS, GIZMOS & GIMMICKS for a description of how this part was used along with some other parts to allow a user to make their own recordings on one of those machine (Edison Amberola Model 30). I see no reason why those same parts wouldn't also work on an Edison Amberola Model 50 or 75 either. It's not a common part. I think I have only had one once before in my 40 years of buying and selling machines. Buy it if you can use it. Be sure and check out the many other Antique Phonograph Related Parts, Needles, RCA Victor "Nipper" Dog Collectibles that I am also offering for sale on at this time and will be adding to almost daily. Thanks for looking!
Just for the sake of mention, at the time that I listed this item for sale, I see that another seller is offering the specially modified Edison Model "H" Reproducer that would have been used along with this part for use on an Edison Amberola Model 30 Phonograph. There would have been one more part to the trio needed (a spacer ring that fits that special reproducer to the Amberola 30 carriage). Finding one of those special reproducers and this part that I have available is an uncommon opportunity. Just sayin'!
