Lovely Edwardian silver 3 piece tea set by Elkington & Co. in the Georgian style. Bombe shape with fluting to the corners and gadrooned rims to all pieces. Set on bun feet and the sugar bowl and jug with pretty feather terminals on top of the handles. The tea pot handle and knop are carved wood. All pieces marked for Birmingham 1908.
The tea pot measures 6 1/4\" high, 10 1/2\" spout to handle and 4 3/4\" wide. The sugar bowl measures 4 3/4\" high and 6 3/4\" by 4\" wide and the jug is 4 3/4\" high, 5 1/2\" spout to handle and 3\" wide. Total weight 1316g/42.3ozt.
Condition is very good; there is a small repair to the base of the jug and a small split to the teapot knop, but it is held tight. Light surface wear from age and use.Worldwide shipping is available, please ask for a cost. Payment is accepted by Paypal, bank transfer or cheque.
