EDWARDIAN STERLING SILVER TROPHY CUP 1905 MAPPIN & WEBB

Fabulous quality sterling silver trophy cup by the celebrated firm Mappin & Webb with full hallmarks for Sheffield 1905. The cartouche panels have not been engraved. Traces of gold wash decoration to the interior.

Marks: Maker M&W; lion silver mark; Sheffield assay office mark; date letter n for the year 1905. The underrside stamped MAPPIN & WEBB LONDON.

There is a little old ding crease under the top rim on one side (please view my photographs) but this in no way detracts from the wonderful look of this object. Otherwise superb condition throughout.

Approximately 5¼ inches high (approx 135mm).

Weight: 12.7 troy oz (395.2g).
