For saleisan Arne Jacobsen Copenhagen Egg Chair with matching leather ottoman.History: We have dated this chair to be either 1958 or 1959. The chair is an original and has never endured any re-upholstery. The chair spins; also, it also has a seat cushion, which the very first models did not have.
The chair is quite comfortable to sit in, will spin round and round with ease and is in solid structural condition. The foam is firm and there is no sagging to report. There are some slight smudges in some areas, just from routine usage. I haven\'t ever attempted to clean or condition the chair or ottoman aside from using a soft cloth to bring luster to the leather finish.
Local pickup is free. If you want to ship, you are responsible for the arrangements. I will do my best to be available for the shipper\'s pickup times.
