Eight Antique 800 Silver edelweiss Flower Demitasse Spoons Teaspoons Germany:

Up for sale is a set of 8 very old 800 silver ornate demitasse spoons where the handle is an edelweiss flower and the stem is the stalk of the flower. The spoons are 4-3/8\" long and the width of the bowl is 7/8\". They are definitely from Germany from the crown and crescent mark and are made after 1886 but the actual maker I am not certain of. Another silver mark is stamped on the bowl of each spoon but I can\'t quite make it out even with my macro lens. My best guess is the silver smith is Hermann Spliedt where I found a close match to it on: of the spoons still has some gold wash on the bowl as shown in the photos. The 2 left most spoons in the first 2 photos have a much less of a drop than the rest of them but still has the same silver mark. Overall the spoons are in great shape for their age and just need to be cleaned up a bit or left alone as some of the patina on it really makes the sunflower more defined. The 8 spoons together weigh 111 grams.
