Vintage Elk Hide Hair On Tanned Leather Wyoming 80\"x 48\" Cabin Lodge Rustic;I am the original owner of this vintage cow Elk, Hair-On Tanned Leather Hide. It is from the Cody, Wyoming area.
I displayed it on my rec room wall for several years but has been stored for the last 20+ years. The hair is in very good condition for its age. It is probably mid-1980\'s vintage.
It measures 80\" long x 48\" wide (at its narrowest). Cow elk retain their hair-on qualities better than Bull elk (a mountain man reenacttold me this).
