We are very pleased to offer this fine early Victorian sterling melon fluted coffee pot.

From Robert Hennell in 1846. Third generation of the renowned silver making family.

Slender melon fluted form. Shell and leaf spire frame shield with CFN (?). United by conforming shield framing diamonds and panel.

Pavilion dome cover, hallmarked with octagonal urn and globe finial. Tapering stream of beads atop panel spout, rising from folded leaf and vine. Leaf and beaded stream double scroll handle with original heat stops.

Hallmarked as shown.

This early Victorian sterling coffee pot is 10 inches tall 34 standard ounces.

In excellent condition. Rich, lustreous silver patina. Stands perfectly firm on table or display shelf. The shell scroll and floral work retains original detail. Handle secure original heat stops. Mild wear.
