Bearing London 1756 hallmarks.

Classic baluster form.

Well cast stepped and turned rim and base. Equally well cast feathered acanthus double scroll handle, oval terminal.

Center with script ME to EC and under base WP.

Hallmarked as shown. The maker \"W ?\" second initial rubbed.

This handsome George II baluster mug is 4 3/4 inches tall and weighs 10 1/2 standard ounces.

In very fine condition. Rich, lustreous silver patina. Stands perfectly firm on table or display shelf. Old silver restoration to terminals.
