English sterling teapot ,heavily repoussed, 2 lbs. +, mask & shell London, 1839:

Pot weighs 34.2 AV ozs., not troy. The marks on the bottom have been mostly polished away, but not the ones under the lid. As near as I can make out , the lettering on the bottom is mia kepface-London. The marks under the lid (which has a slight wiggle at the hinge) is of Richard Sibley, date is 1839-40. The features on the figures are worn as well as some areas on the sides. Pot is 7\" high and 9 1/2\" across the handle-spout. No monogram and very very clean inside. No repairs or damage. Exceptional teapot
