Here\'s a factory-built Epic 686 8\'6\" fiberglass fly rod in excellent condition! These highly sought-after rods are made in New Zealand with the highest levels of quality and workmanship. This rod has a nude blank, western grip, black reel seat, and comes with the original very cool nude fiberglass rod tube and rod sock. Both the rod blank and the rod tube are translucent white. This rod sells for $841 new.

Epic glass rods are incredibly tough. Our S2 FastGlass has a far higher strength-to-weight ratio than Carbon fibre (graphite) rods. Epic FastGlass rods can endure more acute and severe bends than the equivalent Carbon fibre, tip sections are stronger and far less susceptible to breakages due to high-sticking and problematic rod angles when pulling against load.
