Rare, very oversized hardback (boards measure roughly 18.75\" x 13.25\") published by the New York Graphic Society by arrangement with UNESCO in 1961. I cannot locate this title currently listed for sale within the U.S. elsewhere online for less than $395, and that copy is an ex-library book. Textured paper-covered boards and cloth spine. 28 pages of text prior to beginning of color plate section illustrated in black and white. 32 color plates set one to a page with only identification text on facing page. This copy is not an ex-library book. Book remains in at least good condition, if not better. Moderate wear/soiling to cover. Foxing to endpages, along with pencil pricing and PO name in ink. Balance of interior is in very good condition with light to mild occasional foxing that does not affect the plates.
