A PHENOMENAL Period Art Noveau / Jugenstil / Secessionist Art Tile with an EXCEPTIONAL raised, curvilinear floral design, possibly French? Austrian? Belgian? Dutch?

No marks on the back apparent.

Measures 6\" square, approx. 5/16\" thick.

This is the kind of tile one sees in Art Nouveau reference books....the kind you fall in LOVE with!

We recently acquired this from thephenomenal collection /La Jolla estate of William Whittemore who was a 1st generation nuclear engineer for General Atomics.
