Description
Conway Stewart 60 Executive Duro in the uncommon silver veined black pattern known as 'Cracked Ice'. This example has particularly good and strong veining.
Made in England and dating from around 1950, this pen is a lever filler and fills from an ink bottle. It does not take cartridges.
The barrel imprint is very crisp and reads 'Conway Stewart Executive 60'. The pen is fitted with a medium 14k Conway Stewart Duro nib which is smooth with good ink flow. Being a Duro nib with short tine length, it is quite rigid with no flexibility.
Condition wise, the pen has been lightly used but is in excellent condition with no dings, chips or personal engravings. There is a little wear to the top of the clip ring.
We have checked the pen through our workshop, ultrasonically cleaned all the parts and fitted a new ink sac.
