Up for sale with is an Exceptional 1749 Georgian Period English Sterling Silver Coffee Pot or Teapot. The Coffee Pot is by far the earliest and finest example I have sold in years with amazing 18th Century form and Feathered Repousse designs. The Pot is finely and completely Hand Made with the original Carved Wood Handle and very finely formed Lid and Finial. The Coffee Pot is in excellent condition with minimal signs of use and age but no large dents and no cracks or holes of any sort. The Pot displays beautifully and is a nice size for modern use if you so choose measuring 10\" tall by 8\" long or 4\" across the base and holds4 cups. The Coffee Pot is also nice thick Sterling Silver throughout witha quality weight of697 grams. The Pot is fully Hallmarked, I have done my best to show the Maker\'s Mark in the photos, it is quite worn but I am sure with some research someone who knows their early London Silver will be able to identify the Silversmith. The other Hallmarks for London, Sterling Silver and the Date Letter \"O\" for 1749 are quite clear. This is part of an amazing collection of Silver including more rare early English Sterling examples, be sure to check our other sales and save with combined shipping. I doubt you will find another Coffee Pot of this early age, fine condition and quality up for sale again any time soon, especially selling with !!
