This is one of the finest antique buttock baskets to be seen and it will make a truly grand addition to any collection. It is extremely tightly hand woven and feels super study. It has the original gray milk paint over green for a wonderful color and presentation. The handle is solid wood. There are no weak spots or condition issues at all with this basket. It came from a Pennsylvania estate. Measures 8 1/4\" wide x 7 1/2\" wide at opening. At widest it is approximately 9 1/2\" and nearly 7\" at tallest including handle.
