This dates from the late 1800s - early 1900s. The blouse is all hand sewn and made of fine linen, with elaborate pin tucking detail on both the front and the back, as well as down the arms. There is exquisite white work floral embroidery detail both on the linen and the net insert, as well as lace inserts and ribbon detailing. This is elaborate and creative in a way unique to the French!The blouse is a larger size, measuring Chest 41\" and has an adjustable draw string waist. The sleeves are 25\" long, and the blouse is 22\" long. It is in excellent condition with no stains. The only issue I see is an \"almost hole\" in the neck where a small part of the net has stretched out but not quite broken, and one tiny pinhole size break in the net on the back of the neck as shown. This is a WEARABLE ITEM!
