Very Skillfully hand made it features extremely intricate and imaginative all over hand chased details incorporating beautiful flowers, fine arabesques and other fluid naturalistic elements. Each side is different and resembles fine Persian carpets. The quality of this work is exceptional
Excellent condition. Hinge is fine quality, it opens and closes parallel and flush. Clean interior with original elastic retainer. Sharp details.
There are no hallmarks but this isnt unusual and I guarantee that it is constructed from solid silver, probably the usual Persian silver standard of 84% which is similar to the old Imperial Russian standard and purer than most continental silver.

Large, tactile and beautifully proportioned at 150mm x 81mm x 11mm.

Its made from a very thick gauge of solid silver and is incredibly heavy at 257g or 9.1oz
