NEVERTOO EARLY TO THINK TO Christmas GIFT GIVING...This is a vintage wonderfully faded pink toile de Jouy fabric covered boudoir box or sewing box. The pink toile pattern features grape-gathering scenes with country peasants in period clothes, the detailing is superb, please see close-ups and photos as they are important part of my description.

These boxes would shelter sewing accessories, jewels, small treasures or love letters in the old days.

The inside is lined with bright red old paper and is very very clean, see photos

Some wear to the corners and hinge as shown, nothing that really detracts.
