These paintings are from 1961 and it was given to my Father by his Japanese Friendwhen my Father was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. From what I was told by my Father, His Friend told him these painting were old, but I\'m unable to remember the true age of the paintings. In 1984 my Father gave me these paintings and all I know is these painting are at least 56 years old, but they are much, much older than that. My guess is these were made sometime between the Very late 1940\'s to late 1950\'s and then in 1961, it was given to My Father.
You can rearrange and rearrange the painting to make all different types Scenery and it doesn’t matter which way you rearrange the paintings, because all the paintings will realign with each other to make scenery you want.
Each Picture Measures: 3 ft Tall x 1 ft Wide x ¾” Thick
Some of the painting are showing it age and there is some paint cracks on the back side of the paintings where paint meets wood that is cracking along the seamwhich will be very difficult to see once the picture are hanging on the wall.Also some of the black lacquer has chip-off on one sides and again it will be very difficult to see once they are on the wall. There are some hard to see tiny scratches on the picture frames. Please see pictures for more Details.
