DESCRIPTION: This is an exceptional collector\'s piece. By Navajo artisan, Verdy Jake, this belt features 10 exquisite specimens of blue-green turquoise with webbed espresso brown matrix. I believe the turquoise to be from the Indian Mountain mine. The cabochons are set in scalloped bezel, with hand stamped frames. The frames also feature 5 sturdy applied raindrops, and the buckle sports applied leaves. Verdy\'s pieces marry traditional quality and technique with contemporary aesthetics.
