This stunningly beautifulprint is by Chobunsai Eishi (Japanese, 1756-1829), one of the greatest Japanese ukiyo-e artists. He is especially famous for his bijin-ga, or pictures of beautifulwomen.

This reprint would be asuperb choice for any collector. It is truly a classic image from the goldenage of ukiyo-e. It was made from meticulously recarvedwooden blocks and was printed using exactly the same techniques – and with thesame rich color and excellent detail – as the original.
