Floral Cotton Chintz Printed Fabric.Description:
This extraordinarily beautiful and rare antique floral was printed on cotton chintz in France during the 19th Century.The design features large dramatic stems and vines of incredibly gorgeous roses, leaves, and buds in rich tones of
wine, red, rose, pink, teal, green, black, blue, gold, taupe, beige and a dusty lilac on a soft green ground.
The fabric measures 71 inches ( 1 yard 35\") in width by 41 inches in length ( 1 yard 5\").This medium weight fabric would be ideal for pillows or other sewing projects!Condition:
This is antique fabric.
There are 2 vertical seams, one near the center and the other 5\" in from the right edge.
There is surface dirt in the lower center area and pinkish spots/bleeding to the left of that.
There is also some surface dirt along the seam on the right side of the fabric and here and there throughout.
There are some small holes near the top edge and a small tear along that edge right of center.Please see photos for reference.All fabrics,wallpapers and paintings are sold \"as is\".Our items are vintage and some are more than 100 years old.
