For sale is this very fine quality antique Persian Safavid copper bowl. The bowl dates from late 18th century - maybe 1780\'s or around that.

It is made from copper and it has been hand chased with the finest calligrapher and repeating floral background. The script is prayers and Duas. The work on this fantastic bowl is unbelievable. One of the finest Safavid bowls seen on .

The diameter of the bowl is 36.3cm = 14.3 inches

The height of the bowl is 5cm = 2 inches

It weighs 1592 grams. That\'s nearly 1.6kg! It is made from thick copper - very good quality.
