Here for your consideration is a beautiful and extremely rare, 1919, Royal Doulton, HN231, flambé 7.75\" (large) figure of a seated St. Bernard dog, model number 262, first introduced in 1919.
It\'s in fabulous condition, designed by Charles Noke and manufactured byRoyal Doulton, England. The flambé colouring in this 7.75\" (large) seated St. Bernard dog is superb, reallystrong vibrant colouring absolutely exquisite.
I really don\'t believe my photos are doing this magnificent dog true justice because it\'s picking up white light reflections. This figurine was produced in two sizes a 7\" version and 7.75\" .. this is the larger version. The colours and the way they\'ve been mixedare just sublime.
The basehas all the black script;Royal Doultondistinct markings guaranteed 100% genuine.Condition: no chips, fleabites, cracks, scratches or damage. It does have some age related base wear commensurate with its age, but nothing unusual.Just avery nice rare piece ofRoyal Doulton flambé ware.
