During and after the war, production dwindled due to inability to obtain raw material, to export goods or to get permissions from their now Communist regime. Many businesses closed for good.Today Poland is again producing and sometimes using vintage ornament molds that had been hidden away during the war. The old world methods used by the Masters were passed down through the few family businesses that survived. These modern day artists still produce the quality and breathtaking beauty in their masterpieces - as expected from the old Polish traditions - as well as bringing new knowledge from their art university educations.
