This miniature frame is the exactcopy of frames made by Faberge’ in the St. Petersburg workshop, thedifference being that these are not made in precious metals or set with realgems. Each frame has either a golden orsilken cord with which it can be hung on your Christmas tree. Additionally, they have stands attached sothat they can be displayed year around in your collection. The existing pictures are members of theRoyal family of Russia, but the frames open so the pictures can be replacedwith your own.

This heart shaped frame is 24 karatgold plated with translucent red enamel guilloche’ ground. The photograph is circled in Austriancrystals each individually set and elsewhere on the frame are two emeraldcrystals. The frame is crowned with atriple loop gold “ribbon” bow in which is set a single amethyst crystal. The back of the frame is finished asbeautifully as the front in a striated sunburst design. Even the easel stand on which the frame restsis decorated. It measures 2 ¾ inchestall and 2 inches at the widest point.
