We RARELY come across these wonderful antique sterling silver DIMINUTIVE pieces as complete as this set, butwhenever we do we are always ENCHANTED with them as they make a fabulous display with dolls or showcased in a dollhouse or miniature vignette!

Of DUTCH ORIGIN circa early 1900\'s, the set is BEAUTIFULLY ORNATE and for an item so tiny has ELABORATE DETAIL-----this little gem was obviously made as a QUALITY SET!

The set measures a total of 6 1/4\" tall to its finial top, with the bar holding the utensils measuring 4 3/8\" tall and about 3 1/2\" wide, with a base measuring 2 1/4\" deep! There are a total of seven miniature fireplace tools including TWO SHOVELS, one with a rounded end with tiny holes and the other with a squared end, TWO POKERS, both differently molded, TWO BRUSHES with different molded handles and tops with what appears to be boar bristles for the brush ends, and a pair of tiny FORK TONGS! The pieces vary from 2\" to 3\" long, and are hanging attached to the bar frame which has what appears to be tiny GARGOYLE HEADS on the front, with the center one being the largest and most pronounced!

The top of the set is shaped like a CANDELABRA, with tiny candle holders on each end a molded flame tip at the center top, and the center piece of the holder is shaped in a BARLEY TWIST, and the bottom base has gorgeous FLORAL EMBOSSED legs with tiny gargoyle head feet! The workmanship is SUPERB, with intricate detailing for a piece so tiny, and it is entirely hand forged of STERLING SILVER, marked with an incised flower which we believe to be originally of Dutch origin, worthy of the most FINEST COLLECTIONS!
