Fresh from a old collection and offered today, is aTruly Wonderful and Outstanding LARGE 16\" DIAMEMTER Turned Ash Burl Bowl. The figure is OUTSTANDING with tons of tight Plum Pudding eyepatterns! Thinly turned, like 18th century fine china, with moulded lip, beehive turning to base, and exceptional deep rich patination. One minute/tiny missing \"eye\" in the rim, missing a long, long time as patina matches. NO Cracks or repairs. Just as I purchased from a private collection where it has resided for 60+ years, never being for sale until now! Check out pictures for depth and richness of patina/color and condition. One will look long and hard to find another Burl bowl of this quality and condition. The Burl Effigy Ladle I have also listed is from same collection, and always resided with this bowl for as long as the previous collector owned them. Both \"Stellar\" pieces!!!
