This is a quite superb hand painted pair of foxes at a lake on porcelain ofwhich:

During our research we have been informed it dates from the 19th century and is of a german origin.

Dates about c1880.

Mounted into the original black forest carved oak frame.

Hand painted by an artist with a fine hand.

A pair of foxes by a lake with one drinking water in a country setting.

Painted onto a circular porcelain which:

has been mounted into an oak frame of black forest origin.

Decorative hand carvings of leaves & other.

The panel has an overall sizeof about 5.25 x 5.25inches with:

Viewing size of the porcelain with hand painted image of about 2.75inches in dia.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to any major blemishes.

Crack to the rear panel.
