Date English antique Victorian solid sterling silver, with silver hallmarks forBirmingham1891(date letter \"r\") on the swivel/dog catch; the t-baris also hallmarked, (date letter \"x\"), and there are lion passant silver stamps on most of the chain links too. Thesilver vesta caseis hallmarked Birmingham 1898. (date letter \"y\").

ConditionLovely condition,no splits or solder repairs, and withjust normal age-related wear on the chain links. The swivel/dogcatch worksperfectly,opening and closing securely. Thesilver vesta is in nicecondition, no nasty dents and still has a good lid spring.Excellent quality anddirect from a private estate.
