17TH CENTURY SPANISH OR SPANISH COLONIAL SOLID SILVER CROWN

Description:
Fine Spanish or Spanish Colonial solid silver crown from the 17th century, decorated with imitation of jewels and baroque “C” and vegetal scrolls. If it is Spanish Colonial then the dating should be pushed forward in the century.This type of solid silver crowns were created for religious sculptures of the Virgin or Jesus as a child.You can find larger pics for this article at its gallery, at postimage.

Condition:
Very good and solid condition, which is better illustrated by the pictures, with some damages (illustrated), and the logical signs of use. Please, see the attached pictures for a better illustration of its condition, and do not hesitate to ask me for more if you should need them.
