Gorgeous gilt vintage custom French Louis XV style frame. It would be perfect for a modern abstract work, an impressionist work, or even an old master painting.
The frame is very well made and has a nice gilt and toned finish. The frame is vintage and likely from the mid-20th C, e.g. 3rd or 4th Q 20th Century. It is a very handsome frame and in excellent condition.
