Description A handsome English antiqueVictoriansolid sterling silvercurb-link doublealbert pocket watch chain by the silversmith Henry Popeand with English silver hallmarksfor Birmingham 1899.Lovely quality genuine118 year oldexample, all matching, witha silver t-bar and a secure silver swivel/dog catch and has a goodheavysilver weight approx 48grams, (in total). Attached is a fine large antique solid sterling silver fob medal with no added personal inscriptions and also an English antique silver six-pence coin fob dated 1909.

Measurements Measures approx 13.5 inches (344mm)end to end, (excluding the medal) and also 1.5 inches on the short fob chain.

Date English antique Victorian solid sterling silver, with silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1899(date letter \"z\") on the t-bar and on the swivel/dog catch, so all matching.There are rubbed lion passant silver hallmark stamps on most of the chain links too. The fob medal is hallmarked \"Sterling\" and is definitely antique, and the Edward VII coin fob is 100% silver.

Maker Silversmiths initials \"H.P\" (Henry Pope), stamped on the t-bar and on the swivel catch.

ConditionGood condition,no splits or solder repairs, and with just normal agewear on the chain links. Theswivel/dog catch works fine and opens and closes securely and has a strong spring. Lovely chain and with a fine heavy silver weight.
