A great older Northwest Coast Nootka or Nuu-chah-nulth hand carved cedar totem pole dating from the 1980\'s. The totem is carved by Nnacy Williams who is the daughter of the famous carver Raymond Williams (1933-1988) who worked in the Seattle area and part of the famous Williams family of carvers. Please see the publication Carvings and Commerce by Michael Hall and Pat Glascock pages 156-158 for examples of his work and a photograph of the artist. The totem features great expressive well carvedimagery featuring a Thunderbird and bear. The totem stands 13\"T all with a 12 1/4\" wingspan, signed to the back \"Nancy Williams \" and is in excellent condition for its age with just a nice patina from great age and careful handling.Please add $9.95 for careful shipping and insurance (USA). , so have fun offerding!
