On offer today is a very fine set of 6 dinner forks in Queens pattern double struck,they have an Anthemion heel. Assayed in London by well regarded flatware makers Joseph and Albert Savory.Theyare dated 1840-year letter E. Hallmarks are deep and clear. Their length is 8.375 inches. Collectively theyweigh a staggering 623 grams (20.03 troy ounces) and each piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout.They havegreat tines being unworn and of perfect shape. And are in truly wonderful order.They are engraved to the back with a wondrous laurel wreath crest and always have been, definitely no erasures and have plenty of life left in them yet.

Afunctional early Victorian lot in this highly desirable and sought after pattern.
