Up for sale is this vintage, oil painting on canvas by the well-known California artist, Ron Grauer. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This original oil painting depicts a garden window shelf, on which spoons, teacups, jars, fruit, and flowers are scattered. One can imagine that this represents a relaxed, mid-morning tea break in the kitchen of a quaint cottage. The painting is nicely presented in a wooden frame that is a muted gold color with reddish distressing; there is an off-white linen liner with a gold edge. It was professionally framed, and verso there is a label from a Carmel, California frame shop. The sight area measures approximately 13 3/16 inches by 10 3/16 inches (the stretcher dimensions are approximately 14 inches by 11 inches). The exterior frame measurements are about 20 1/4 inches by 17 1/4 inches. Unpacked, this piece weighs about 4 pounds. This painting would make a great addition to a collection of California fine art.Identification
This vintage painting is copyrighted, signed, and dated at the lower left, \"Grauer \'89.\" Ron Grauer (1927-) is a listed artist on AskART. Per AskART, Ron Grauer was born in Missouri, and he grew up in Kansas. He studied art at Washburn University and at the Kansas City Art Institute. After moving to southern California during the early 1950s, he had additional art education at UCLA and Chouinard. Before immersing himself in fine art, Grauer spent many years working as an illustrator. After moving north to Carmel Valley, he owned the Ron Grauer Gallery in Carmel. His works were exhibited there and at other galleries in California. He painted both studio and plein air works ion oils, egg tempera, and watercolor. Grauer, now in his mid-80s, lives in the redwoods near Santa Cruz, California with his artist wife Lois Johnson. His work has been described at contemporary realism with elements of impressionism.Condition

Before merchandise is shipped to a California address (or picked up or delivered within California), a sales tax of 8% will be collected, unless the buyer provides a valid California resale certificate form by mail (or in person, in the case of pick up or delivery). The buyer must prepay before merchandise is released. Paypal payments over $250 will only be accepted if delivery is to an address with a confirmed status. A signature will be required for delivery if the total Paypal payment for merchandise inside the parcel is greater than $250. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made. 3. Shipping and Handling
Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not included. Framed art will not be shipped unframed. The seller typically ships on Mondays and Thursdays, unless a holiday or special circumstance precludes it. If payment is via Paypal, the merchandise will be shipped on the seller\'s next shipping day after payment clears. The seller is not responsible for the transit time once the merchandise has been accepted by the shipping carrier. Economy shipping within the U.S. includes delivery to a physical address via an economy shipping method of the seller\'s choice. At the discretion of the seller, a faster shipping method may be utilized at no additional cost to the buyer. If the buyer prefers a different shipping method other than that chosen by the seller, or if delivery is to a post office box, additional shipping and handling costs may be required.
