I have a fairly large collection of fountain pens and needed a way to store, protect and display them. I looked at the products that were available and found that in most cases they were cheaply built and/or very expensive. I could not make myself buy a solid wood case that would only hold ten or twelve pens for $75 or more. Most of my pens are vintage or antique so I looked for a way to make a storage vessel that was in the age group of my collection. I found I could refurbish silverware storage chests and jewelry boxes that would fit more than 20, 30, 50 and sometimes over one hundred pens at a fraction of the cost of some of the nicer commercial products. Every case is refurbished by hand and incorporates a custom built storage system that I invented.Contact Us
