A captivating and erotic Harem girl Orientalist modernist goddess pin-up image by Rolf Armstrong titled \"Song of India.\"Armstrong typically worked in pastel - starting in 1929, he created four larger than life sized monumental oil paintings for The Brown & Bigelow calendar company inspired by the Paris salon paintings he saw when he visited Paris in the early 1920s. This is a great image and really indicative of the Art Deco escapist exotic imagery that resonated in the calendar art market during the lean years of the Great Depression.
