This sale is for an ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR, FRANKLIN MINT, DELUXE KING TUT EGYPTIAN THEME, COMPLETE CHESS SET, WITH 24K GOLD PLATED PIECES, AND GLASS PYRAMID DUST COVER. Wow.....what an awesome chess set, this is! Not only, is this chess set, a beautiful work of art, it is a fully functional chess set. If you have a nice set of checkers, this board will really enhance that game, as well! The dark wood frame, is in very nice condition, and the play field, is in excellent condition. The 24K GOLD playing pieces, are gorgeous, and each piece will be individually hand wrapped. These playing pieces are very heavy, and the detailing is SUPERB! I do not have the original chess piece box, but the pieces will come in their own box. The glass pyramid dust cover, is in excellent condition, and the top finial, is tightly secured. The wood framing measures 15.5 INCHES SQUARE, & 12 INCHES IN HEIGHT (with the glass pyramid cover). Each corner of the wood board, is adorned with a 24K GOLD statue. This deluxe chess set, will make a fantastic game table display. When not in use, keep the glass pyramid cover on, to protect the play field from dust build up. This set was discontinued, many years ago, and is very hard to find, especially with the glass pyramid cover included! Don\'t miss out on this magnificent chess set.
