Offering this wonderful antique Easter bunny. She’s an old composition-head doll with a bunny suit on. The ears are formed by wires that have been run through the head. This is an original old piece, not upcycled or remade. It came from a very fine estate. The owners had a collection of wonderful primitives, many individual pieces of which went for thousands at the sale. This doll shows her age, with lots of craquelature but no pieces missing. The suit is a rough-textured material like a heavy muslin or flaxen fabric. The doll measures 13” tall from foot to ear. If you are only going to have one Easter decoration, this should be the one – she’s a standout!
