This is a truly fantastic Letter Opener from early 1900,\'s - Classic Art Nouveau Style. The handle is created of beautifully detailed brass pieces that come together with a bird nestled in a vine of leaves and a flower. The attachment to the blade also has a scrolling floral pattern etched into it. The blade has a chip in one end and the entire piece needs to be cleaned - or not - I personally love the patina! Otherwise in very good condition.Measures approx 10\" long x 1\" wide.
