We are offering for sale a fabulous Georgian period silver salver.
This excellent quality10\" salver or waiter tray was made by the premier specialist tray makers of the period - Hannam & Mills, later Hannam & Crouch.It has a very attractive cast shell & gadroon border and to the centre is an elaborate and original engraved monogram with floral flourishes.
The salver is infine original condition with no previous erasures. The underside is left in tarnished condition, but could easily be cleaned if required, plus there is a Christies sale label probably dating from the 1970\'s.
MEASUREMENTS: 26cm (10\") diameter;569 grams (18.3 tr.oz.)weight.
MARKS: Full set of English hallmarks (guaranteeing Sterling 925 standard silver) for London 1764, made by Thomas Hannam & Richard Mills.
CONDITION: Very good original condition with just a few very small dings to the surface and original casting pits around the edge.
