Presenting an Extremely Scarce and Highly Collectable Authentic Antique Oak Treadle Spinning Wheel which was made by John Dunn, (ca 1764) who was from Newcastle, and was a Notable Pipe Maker or Maker of Bagpipes and also a Cabinet Maker and Noted in the Trade Directory as a Turner (Person who is Skilled in turning wood on a lathe)

Dates to the 18th Century

Beautifully Made with Great Skill, with Beautifully Reeded Frame, and wooden pegs, I have never used a spinning wheel, so don\'t know if it is in working condition, but the treadle is Working, with the wheel turning, all the components look like they are there, but I am unable to say for sure, so please ask me if you wish to know anything in particular and I will do my Best to answer you, or if you would like any close up photos of any part

It has a Makers Mark either side of the table, which is similar to that on the Bag Pipes John Dunn also made, which I have also shown

Measures 110 cm to tip of Distaff and 64 cm Wide

Very Good Antique Condition but does have historical woodworm holes which have been historically treated and filled, which is comensurate with age, would look even better with a Professional Polish
