SEE BELOW FOR MY GRADING CHART what you see is what you get on my records i describe how they sound on my player i usually only play albums before listing if they visually grade below VG & describe everything i hear i can however test ones if asked (i have four kids so not alot of time to test every single one anymore) ...........
i am not responsible for any extra noise your player picks up as i do not control your players condition of the needle wires tubes etc... and all sales are as is on records unless there is some defect or flaw i missed mentioning.
?? records are a touchy grading issue and i grade my records from what i have learned from other people grading them. i will describe flaws with the cover only and you can grade yourself from that and pictures i only specify if a sleeve is missing not the condition of it but will answer questions about it if asked. ......
i only use MINT for brand new just opened (never played) or sealed records (covers on the opened ones have to be mint as well and most of the time still in shrink for record to qualify under this category for me)
...... NM ~~ album that has been played but no noticeable flaws not even when held to the light.

NM- ~ album that only when held to the light can show super light signs of play or use no scratches at all marks includes super light scuffs or lines that may resemble a scratch but cannot be seen unless bright light is applied i think some peope call those spider lines? because they almost resemble spider web lines they are so light. ...............
VG+ an album that is similar to NM- but has one or two more noticeable scuffs or small light scratches that cannot be felt or heard and still has a strong shine
VG may have a few more scuffs or very light scratches that cannot be felt or heard but are noticeable in addition to the possible very light marks that NM- carry may have has lost a bit of its original shine as well noise may be present but NEVER LOUDER THEN THE MUSIC and MOST OF THE TIME CAN ONLY REALLY BE NOTICED IN THE DEAD WAXES .................
VG- a record with numerous marks and light scratches that cannot be felt or heard in addition to more heavier NM- lines that are more noticeable because it may have lost alot of its shine over the years and may have a heavier scratch or two that can be heard and or felt with light ticks pops or static but not so loud that the record is no longer enjoyable in my opinion (i dont mind a little noise it brings out the record feel for me) this record album is mostly a play copy under this category unless super rare. ....................
G+ a record with a greater amount of noise may have a skip or two or a jump lots of marks scuffs probably doesnt have any shine left at all. but still plays for the most part and can still enjoy over 80-85% of the album ( i usually only list albums under this category if they are very sought after records that some people dont mind the noise or have a better player then i do that will play through the scratch or mark making it skip)
