I just purchased this vintage PAIR of Fenton Art Glass candlesticks from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The candles are Fenton\'s shape No. 1623 which was introduced in 1927 with continued production through the 1930\'s (1937). The candles have a striking Art Deco inspired design with hex paneled candle cups, dolphin handles arcing on either side and domed base with embossed florals and foliage. The pieces are done in Fenton\'s Ruby shade which shows some subtle amber shading at the dolphins (Amberina). The candles measure 3 5/8\" high and 4\" wide at the base. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no damage or noted wear. This handsome Art Deco design would make a nice addition to any collection of vintage Fenton art glass or Ruby Elegant Depression glassware.
