Up for your consideration is this lovely vintage Fenton Art Glass Alley Cat. Signed by George W. Fenton it measures 11 1/4\" tall. It has a great amethyst color. I see no cracks or chips. There is a imperfection on the bottom in the inside rim. I believe it was done at the time of manufacturing. (See Picture\'s doesn\'t not take away from the piece.) The Fenton Art Glass Carnival Alley Cat has it original hanging tag has some wear from over time. It is a beautiful piece of carnival glass and Fenton Art Glass.As President of Fenton Glass and grandson of company founder Frank L. Fenton, George works closely with eight other Fenton family members who are involved in all aspects of the company.With the organization since 1972, George served as Foreman of the Decorating Department and Manager of Manufacturing before becoming President in 1986. He states, “I am most satisfied when I can contribute to solving a difficult production problem.” George graduated with honors from Wesleyan College in 1971 with a B.A. degree in physics and astronomy, and completed the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School in 1989.
