Ferdinand Barbedienne born in1810 and died in 1892 was a French metalworker and manufacturer in Paris who is well know as a bronze founder.
This offering is for a pair of rectangular bronze plaques with a rich aged brown patina, finely modeled and chiseled of classically draped maidens after the \"Fontaine des Innocents\" by Jean Goujon.
Measurements: 11.25\" ...29cm. high x 3\" 8cm wide.
Each plaque is signed in the lower right corner
